Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

Cricket+ (“the app”, “we”) provides live cricket scores, scorecards, and statistics. We built it to be usable without accounts and without tracking you. This policy explains, in plain terms, what data is and isn’t involved.

Information we do NOT collect

  • No account, sign-up, name, email, or password — the app has no login.
  • No analytics or tracking cookies of our own.
  • No contacts, photos, location permission, or other device data.

The one exception is advertising in our Android app — see the Advertising section below.

Information stored on your device only

Your display preferences (such as theme and men’s/women’s cricket) are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. This never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser/app storage removes it.

Information processed automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as your IP address and device/browser type) to deliver pages and keep the service secure. We use the approximate country derived from your IP address only to show which TV/streaming broadcasters are relevant to your region. We do not store this to build a profile of you.

Cricket data

Match, team, and player statistics shown in the app come from a third-party sports data provider and are stored in our database as public sporting information. This is data about cricket — not about you.

Advertising

Our Android app shows ads through Google AdMob to keep it free. To display and measure ads, AdMob (and Google) may access your device’s advertising identifier and limited device information. Where required, you’ll be asked for a consent choice and can opt out of personalized ads — non-personalized ads may still appear. This is handled by Google under its own Advertising and AdMob policies. The website version of Cricket+ does not show these ads.

Third-party services

We rely on these providers to run the app; their own privacy policies apply to their processing:

  • Sportmonks — cricket data feed.
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
  • Neon — database hosting for cricket statistics.
  • Google AdMob — in-app advertising (Android app only).
  • YouTube — when you open a highlights link/video from a completed match.

Children

Cricket+ is a general-audience sports app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
